Live Activity Control (LAC)
The Live Activity Control (LAC) page provides means to manually supervise and control video recording in all rooms within a single Activity, including access to the Intercom feature.

The Live Activity Control page is accessible to users with either Administrator, Video Control, Video Control (full control), or Intercom privileges.
Easy Access to Live Activity Control via CO
In the latest versions of LearningSpace, users can open Live Activity Control (LAC) from the Center Overview page (CO) of the Recording module with a single click:
Go to Recording.
On the Center Overview page, click on Open Live Activity Control.
LAC opens in a pop-up.
Using the Open in new browser tab option, the newly opened LAC pop-up can be popped out to a separate tab (enabling easily moving the new tab to a secondary screen).
If clicked, it opens LAC in a new tab, and the browser will go to the new tab, closing the previously opened LAC pop-up.
Managing Flexi events on LAC
Flexi events can be managed via the Live Activity Control page.
The Encounter can be started and stopped here, and the Status of the participants can be followed as well.
Flexi events are displayed with the associated Activity’s title and marked as “FLEXI” in the Activity dropdown.

Necessary privileges
Video Control Full Control: has the same privileges as the Admin user.
If there is a Flexi event that can be listed on LAC, these users can enter LAC and control the event the same way the Admin user can.Video Control: If the VC-privileged user is part of the Faculty group assigned to a Flexi event’s Activity, the given Flexi event will be displayed on LAC for this user.
Intercom: If the Intercom privileged user is in the Faculty group assigned to a Flexi event’s Activity, the given Flexi event is displayed on LAC for this user.
NOTE: The Intercom user has less control than the Video Control user.
Live Activity Control via Classic View
The Activity drop-down lists all running and running non-scheduled (RNSA) Activities assigned to a room with cameras.
