How to register a Mobile Device in LearningSpace


The new LearningSpace Anywhere mobile app is a companion application to the web-based LearningSpace software. To review all features and functionalities of the mobile app, you need to use the web-based application alongside it.

  • The mobile app uses the device's built-in camera and streams the camera feed to LearningSpace.

  • The mobile device's camera stream is displayed in LearningSpace, and its recording is also controlled through LearningSpace.

Step-by-step instructions

Pairing a mobile device with LearningSpace

  1. Log in to Elevate LearningSpace.

  2. Click the "System" tile.

  3. Select the "Cameras" tab.

  4. Click "Register Mobile Device" and click "Next" in the Register Device pop-up.



  5. A QR code is generated and displayed in the pop-up.

  6. Open LearningSpace Anywhere mobile app.


  7. Tap "Scan QR Code" in the mobile app and scan the QR code displayed in LearningSpace.

  8. After successful device pairing, the mobile app will display the device name and the "Waiting for Room Assignment" status.

  9. Click "Close" in LearningSpace. The mobile device will appear in the list of cameras as "Mobile Camera #".

    Each authenticated device is displayed in the list of added AV devices in the System Manager, Cameras tab.


In case of a failed registration, the following warning message is displayed:

In such cases, check the internet connection, hit Try again, and go Back on your Mobile device.

In LearningSpace, if you press Back, you will get a new QR code and can retry scanning.

Camera and microphone access must be enabled in the Mobile phone’s Settings for proper functioning.
