Learner Access

Within learner access settings, once the Faculty and Learner groups are assigned on the Participants tab, the following data are displayed:

Activity Duration

The date fields are populated automatically based on the settings on the Basics tab. These dates can only be modified on the Basics tab.

Report Availability

The Report Access panel determines the interval during which the specified learners (either the whole learner group or a subgroup) will be granted access to the reports.

The selector only saves a specific date if a specific day is selected. If the End date is intended to be changed just by the year or the month, clicking outside the selector will not save the modification.

Select the Enable report access during the Activity checkbox if you want learners to access reports during the Activity.

Learners

The reports specified in the Report Access panel will apply to the group highlighted in this panel (i.e., the whole group vs. a subgroup).

Report Access

The access only applies if the Case(s) is/ are selected below the list of reports and only for the Case(s) checked.

The reports listed can be checked (and thus selected) individually.

By default, none of the reports is ticked.

The options refer to specific reports and peer and video access settings.

By ticking the Individual Checklist option, all included reports will be selected but can be individually deselected.

For information about the different reports, see Reports.

Further options:

  • Allow peer access to individual checklist - grants access for learners assigned as evaluators (on the Assignments tab) to the Peer Evaluation checklist for the learner(s) assigned as evaluee(s)

  • Allow peer access to video - ensures access to the evaluees' video recordings (different from the evaluating learner's recording).

  • Video Review - grants access to the video recording to which the learner's name is linked

    • Only Audio - when reviewing, only the audio content will be accessible to the learner.

    • Download Video - If enabled, learners can also download their video recording.

  • Total Score Distribution for the entire Activity - learners will be granted access to the Total Score Distribution data

Hide ‘Print Reports’ and ‘Export to Excel’ Options for Learners

This feature is to hide the ‘Print’ and ‘Export to Excel’ buttons for Learners on Report pages by default. The setting is accessible under the "Report Printing" section in the Report settings of a given Activity.

This option can resolve concerns about learners' ability to print or export reports during testing events. While learners need access to feedback (comments from SPs, clinicians, etc.), the export and print functions are not always suitable for them.

When toggled off (unchecked), the "Print" and "Export to Excel" buttons on the Report pages are hidden for Learners.

When toggled on (checked), the buttons are visible to learners.

The setting is toggled off by default.

View on the Reports printing page:

If the Report Printing option is disabled (unchecked), the buttons remain hidden for Learners on the Reports pages:

Selected reports are available for the following Cases (where the Case is selectable)

Any access checked in the Report Access panel will only apply if specific Cases and (at least one) Case part/Section are selected, and only for the Cases and Case parts/Sections checked.

By default, none of the Cases is checked for learner access; therefore, the desired Cases must be enabled.
