# ◾ Why are some of the stages of the SCE Scheduling disabled/ inactive?

Since the **Pre-Sim**, **Simulation**, **Post-Sim,** and **Evaluation** stages correspond to the completion of the respective checklists, these stages are only active/ enabled if at least one section has **at least one item created** within the checklist.
