# ◾ Why are some of the buttons in the Send to Screen panel inactive?

The [**Send to Screen**](/doc/send-to-screen-dPEzWpmeyF) option requires the following technical setup to be completed:

* monitor/ decoder **and/ or** JUNO simulator connected and assigned to the room
* media content uploaded

**IMPORTANT:** Media content can only be uploaded within an [**SCE**](/doc/sce-design-wSs5C4jY3B), and for the content to be available, the SCE has to be **assigned to the recording**.   
An SCE can only be linked to a recording through scheduling an **event**; as a consequence, the Send to Screen feature is only possible via [**Event for recording**](/doc/scheduling-events-ycG8LhTZuv).

If a device assigned to the room is **disconnected**, the button will still show the decoder's or Patient Monitor's name, but it will turn gray and inactive.
