# User Manager

The **User Manager** is a module for creating and maintaining LearningSpace user accounts. Each user is assigned a role that determines which modules and functions of LearningSpace they can access or use.

The **User Manager is only accessible to users with Admin roles via the User Manager** tab.

***IMPORTANT:*** As participation in a simulation event is designated to groups, individual users have to be members of one or more groups to participate in any system-related endeavor.

Users can be assigned to different groups individually via the **Edit User** window or by adding them to a specific group in the **Edit Group** window.
