# Facilitator

Facilitators are **medically qualified personnel** who can implement and deliver simulation events. Their competence ranges from

* **conducting the briefing** when learners are given instructions and essential information about the simulation through
* **providing indirect assistance** and guidance for the learners during the simulation, then
* **managing the debriefing session** when the simulation experience is re-examined and analyzed;
* To **support the other personnel** (simulation designer, operations specialist) in their tasks.

Users with a Facilitator role have the access level closest to that of the Admins: their role combines that of a Scheduler, an Operations Specialist, and Faculty, and they have additional control over the Reports module. Consequently, they are authorized to do the following:

* Operate within the [**Recording**](/doc/ddc75e4e-0e97-4a93-aa9b-8dd31b65331e) module: start and stop recording, manage intercom announcements, assign participant groups to a recording, add annotations, and fill out the *Performance Checklist* of the SCE;
* use all the functions of the [**Video Review**](/doc/23c28678-ed1a-4f8b-a7d7-294e40290c1e) module: review recordings, download videos, print *Video Reports*, upload simulation data logs, add annotations to video recordings;
* create and edit content in the [**SCE Management**](/doc/94eb8463-776c-4a8a-bfd2-f0a16ccfdd6f) module
* schedule and manage events in the [**Calendar**](/doc/17c60446-c7cc-4f79-ac30-9099f2692fe9) module;
* manage the [**Reports**](/doc/ceebe50f-c20f-4f32-a445-a6d0dba733c3) module: access all the reports in the system, create and save reports for specific events or activities;
* submit Open Ended Question Scoring ([**OEQS**](/doc/874c4d41-869e-4775-b67c-cbaa5d9fa6d2)), that is, grade learners' responses for questions requiring textual answers.
