# ◾ Can I control the Simulator via the SCE?

If a simulator is connected to the LearningSpace system (i.e. is assigned to a specific room), the [**Simulator panel**](/doc/simulator-panel-KTeho79qQm) is displayed in the [**Single Room View**](/doc/single-room-view-srv-1fth0IochP) (SRV) of the **Recording** module.  
  
This means that we are not controlling anything via the SCE itself but via the **SRV's Simulator control** panel (widget).
