Workstation Computer Requirements

Computers must meet these requirements to run the  LearningSpace application.

Software requirements

Supported Operating systems

  • Microsoft Windows 10 or 11

  • macOS (latest two major releases)

Supported browser for each OS (Windows, Mac)

Optimal configurations:

  • Google Chrome (latest)

Further supported configuration:

  • Microsoft Edge (latest)

On iPads, Safari is the only supported browser for  LearningSpace. For more information, visit iPad Support - Technical Information.

IMPORTANT: LearningSpace Intercom requires the web browser to access the client PC's microphone, which in turn requires a secure HTTPS connection to the LearningSpace server.
That is, you can use the client computer's microphone only with a valid SSL certificate. (This restriction stems from the Chrome browser security regulations.)


Hardware requirements

The following are the Elevate Healthcare recommended requirements:

  • CPU:

    • Intel Core i5 (12th Gen or equivalent), or

    • Apple Silicon (M1, M2, or newer), or

    • ARM-based processors with performance equivalent to Apple M1 or better (e.g., Snapdragon X Elite)

  • RAM: 16 GB of Memory

  • Display: 1920 x 1080p screen resolution

  • Network: Gigabit Ethernet

We recommend hardware that meets or exceeds these specifications to provide the best video streaming results.


Bandwidth requirements

Required bandwidth for client computers to display camera streams and simulator waveforms:

  • for HD, full HD cameras, or simulator waveforms: 2 Mbit/s (Mbps)

  • for 4K cameras: 20 Mbit/s (Mbps)
