Uploading Data Log to a Recording
For users with Admin or Report Reviewer (full control) privileges.
IMPORTANT: LearningSpace supports two third-party simulators: Laerdal and Gaumard. Data logs saved from these simulators can be uploaded to and synchronized with recordings in the Video Review module of LearningSpace.
Selecting a single recording activates the gray Upload data log button in List View.
Clicking the button opens the Data Logs pop-up, where you can browse and upload the desired data log to the selected simulator.
Depending on the file size, the upload may take a minute.
When the upload is complete, information about the data file is listed in the Data Logs pop-up.
Click the red minus icon to delete the uploaded data log.
Because you can upload only one data log per encounter, selecting more than one video deactivates the button (gray). The number of selected recordings is indicated above the option buttons.
Synchronizing the uploaded data log with the recording:
Synchronize the data log with the recording.
When entering the room view of the recording to which the data log has been uploaded, the Trend Chart and Event Log panels will be displayed along with the video recordings.
In the Simulator (or Event) Log panel, select a specific event that can be unambiguously linked to the recording. When the selected event is screened, click Synchronize at the selected event in the Event Log.
Adjust the timing with the respective arrows:
The Synchronize function is darkened when hovering over it within the selected event of the Event Log panel.
Synchronized events are displayed as white flags on the timeline (instead of color-coded annotation markers).
