# Structure of Activity Manager ## What is an Activity? :::info An **Activity** incorporates [**Cases**](/doc/case-manager-QdAIr4bLwJ) that Learners are expected to complete over an **extended period**.  It also integrates the **components of a controlled medical training experience,** such as *planning, site management, data entry, advanced video-recording features, evaluation,* and *report preparation.* ::: ## Required privileges :::info Administrator or [**Activity Manager**](/doc/privileges-wnjrx8qPWS) privileges are required to manage Activities within LearningSpace. ::: All of your Activities created in your center management system are saved in the [**Activities**](/doc/activity-manager-8Z2fsIu6LP) module. An Activity only runs between the start and end dates specified in the **Edit Activity** pop-up window. ::: ## Activity Editing To access a specific Activity, highlight its title and double-click it, or click the Open button in the top-right corner of the panel. The **Edit Activity pop-up** window will open.
