# SP Performance

The **SP Performance Assessment** section of LearningSpace provides a tool to evaluate how a specific **SP performed in a learner encounter** or across the entire Case.

There are **two main areas** - and scores - that serve for this evaluation:

* One is when an SP's answers to the **SP section of a case questionnaire** are **compared with an observer's answers**.
* The other part of the evaluation is when an **observer completes a questionnaire** (the [**SP performance assessment) about**]() how the SP performed in a specific encounter.

These two types of evaluation provide the **overall performance score of the SP**.
