# SP Checklist

The SP Checklist offers **Learner evaluation** from the **SP's perspective**. The checklist consists of **question items** that the SP can fill out to evaluate the selected Learner's **performance during the encounter**.

***Important***

The SP checklist may also be used as a basis of reference in [**SP Performance Assessment (SPPA)**](/doc/about-sp-performance-assessment-oZdsjowaxv), in which case the SP checklist has to be accessible for **observation**, which can be done by having the *"Observed"* checkbox ticked (by default, it is) in the Section editor of each SP section intended for SPPA.
