Single Room View Layout Basics - Legacy version

Recording controls and slider

The recording controls and the video slide bar are located at the top of the Single Room View (SRV).

Find out more about the recording bar here.

Side panels

There are four panels available in Single Room View (SRV) besides the camera live stream (for more details about the side panels, follow the links):

By default, the Record Control and Intercom panels are fully displayed when entering SRV.

The Annotations tab is minimized when entering SRV. Click on the Annotations panel to display it.

The features of the Annotations panel are only available while a recording is in progress.

The Data Entry panel only appears if

  • An activity is selected

  • The activity includes a FON data entry checklist, and

  • at least one learner is assigned to the recording

Select the Activity and Learner in the Record Control panel.

Camera Live Stream Mini Toolbar

Each camera installed in the room has a feed that all appear in SRV (if other layout options were not applied).

Each live feed is embedded in a control panel.

Click on the cogwheel in the top right corner to display the mini toolbar of the panel:

The mini toolbar contains the following options:

  • The first camera (from the left) is enabled by default in SRV.
Click on the speaker icons to mute  or switch back  the sound of a camera.

  • Use these icons to resize a camera panel: reduce or increase the size of the live stream display.

  •  Expand the view to full screen. Exit full-screen mode using the icon in the bottom-left corner of the screen.

  • hides the camera panel. To make a hidden camera panel appear again, go to Window layout settings

  • and switch on the camera under Window visibility controls.
