# Resources Tab

In the **Resources** **tab**, you will find every resource itemized that was either registered by the system ([**System Resources**](/doc/resource-manager-jkDM9H8o9Q)) or added manually by the [**Add New Resource**](/doc/how-to-add-a-new-resource-NwwzLnYIUt) option (**User Resources)**.

Each resource can be categorized by placing it in one (or more) "cabinets." By categorizing resources, you can apply the categories as filters when reviewing usage entries or even visualize the registered usage category.

There are five default categories: *Cameras, Rooms, Simulators, SPs, and Stations*. **System Resources** are automatically placed in one of these categories once usage is registered, but you can add a custom category as needed. You can also manage the unit in which a resource should be measured.

***Important***

Make sure to set the same unit of measure for resources in the same category (cabinet) to ensure reports and charts are generated correctly.
