# Reconciliation [https://vimeo.com/1195635739?share=copy&fl=sv&fe=ci](https://vimeo.com/1195635739?share=copy&fl=sv&fe=ci) The **Reconciliation** process of the Inventory module is performed in case some of your **Inventory items of any item type** go **missing** or reach the **end of their useful lifespan**. You can reconcile the **total quantity** of these types of items. :::warning Reconciliations can only be performed by users with **Administrator or Inventory Manager (full control)** privileges. Select the **From storage room** option. 2. Select one of the available **locations**. 3. Enter the item **quantity**. 4. Select the **reason** for reconciliation: **Lost** or **Disposed.** 5. All asset details are loaded after the item is detected. 2.
