[Zebra DS4608](/doc/setup-guide-for-zebra-ds4608-barcode-reader-MShmYQq8li) In the Inventory Manager, all QR/barcodes are identified by the **#LS prefix**. This prefix configuration is required for Inventory 2.6 and later to suppor**t QR code and barcode scanning**. First, the QR/Bar code reader should be configured to add this prefix when reading a QR/Bar code. :::warning If using a **Smartphone Scanner Application, the #LS prefix** for the Barcode-to-PC scanning application MUST be set for the devices to function correctly.
