Options tab
The Options tab lists all options and restrictions through which access features of an Activity can be limited and customized.
Ticking a checkbox at a particular option makes it valid for the Activity.

Disable learner data entry
The learners of an Activity (members of a group assigned as the Learner group on the Participants tab) will be prevented from data entry.
The option can be withdrawn anytime to restore learner access to data entry.
Even if this option is checked, the Activity will still be listed on the learners' dashboard, but the Data Entry button will not be available.
Use this setup to complete an SP training with the Activity.
Data entry only allowed from
With this option, data entry can be limited to specified computer stations in your institution's network. Therefore, learners cannot access their data entry from home.
Elevate Healthcare recommends contacting your network administrator or IT professional for assistance before using this option.
To restrict data entry to certain computer stations, provide either one of the following:
IP addresses starting with numbers: IP addresses beginning with the specified numbers become the sole data entry clients for the Activity.
OR
hostnames ending in a certain domain name. Only computers with the specified hostname ending can be used for data entry.
Devices do not have a hostname by default. You should check with your institution's IT professionals about the devices' hostname registry.
However, they all have an IP address, usually starting with the same array of numbers for the entire organization.
Data entry only allowed from the manually authorized workstation
By selecting this option, data entry is only allowed from an Activity's or event's manually authorized workstations (special computers added to the system).
(See one option for utilizing this feature: SP Training part.
Data entry only allowed for scheduled SPs (if assigned)
Apply this option to warn SPs if they try logging into a workstation in the wrong room.
(SPs assigned to a particular Case in Advanced Scheduling can still access all other Cases assigned to the Activity.)
In case of scheduled events, you can grant scheduled SPs exclusive access to the workstation of the Case they are assigned to. This way, SPs can only access and submit data entries for the Case they were assigned to on the Scheduling (SP assignments) page.
SPs trying to log in to the wrong workstation will receive the following message:

Each Case is assigned to at least one room, and to apply this restriction, each room needs to have authorized workstations set up.
By applying this option—along with the correct room and workstation settings—SPs will not have access to the other Cases assigned to the Activity. They will not accidentally submit the data entry of learners they did not encounter.
Jump to classic FON data entry page from the Your Activities table
When this option is enabled, clicking the FON Data Entry button of an Activity in the Your Activities panel will navigate to the Classic view of FON data entry—instead of the Video Review page.
Allow access of other activities from stations assigned to this activity
By applying this option, you can access other activities from the workstation computer assigned to the current activity.
Log out users after Post-Encounter Submit
When this option is enabled, learners are automatically logged out of the system after submitting their Post-Encounter checklist (for any of the Cases assigned to the Activity).
Log out users after Pre-Encounter Submit
When this option is checked, learners are automatically logged out of the system after submitting their Pre-Encounter checklist.
This option is enabled by default for all newly created Activities.
Multiple independent SP & FON submissions allowed
By enabling this option, more than one SP can submit the SP checklist for the same learner and more than one FON Data Entry user can also assess and do data entry about the same learner.
To provide a learner's total SP checklist and FON checklist score, the different scores given by multiple SPs and FON Data Entry users will be averaged.
Allow Post-Encounter access only after student encounter
Prevent learners from accessing their post-encounter checklist before their encounter takes place. By selecting this option, learners can only access the post-encounter checklist of Cases added to the Activity if one of the following conditions is met:
In Case of Encounters On-Premises (Physical Rooms)
The recording of the learner’s encounter with the SP has ended:
By the Stop button in Single Room View,
by the global Stop button in Center Overview,
or automatically in Case of scheduled events with a time structure. (Learn more at How to Create a Timeslot Structure Template).
The video recording does not have to be fully processed for learners to access their post-encounter checklist.
The Activity, Case, and Learner must be assigned to the recording.
OR
The SP checklist of the Case assigned to the recording has been submitted by an SP;
OR
The FON checklist of the Case assigned to the recording has been submitted by a FON Data Entry user.
In Case of Virtual Encounters (Virtual Rooms)
The learner’s virtual encounter with the SP ended with the SP's red Stop button on the Learner Selection page.
OR
The SP checklist of the Case assigned to the virtual event has been submitted by an SP.
OR
A FON Data Entry user has submitted the FON checklist for the Case assigned to the virtual event.
Allow SP part access only after Pre-Encounter submit
When this option is enabled, SPs can only access the SP Part after the learner has submitted the Pre-Encounter Learner Part.
Activity is available with Restricted Browser only
Participants can only access the Activity from a LearningSpace Restricted Browser when this option is checked.
Display current score in FON data entry
When this option is selected, the score will be displayed and continuously updated during FON data entry.
Show learner's photo on SP checklist
Checking this option displays the learner's photo (if uploaded in the User Manager module) on the checklist the SP fills out for the particular learner.
VIDEO UPLOAD
This option enables the selected user type to upload videos to the system within the Video Review module.
