For details, see [**How to Set Up Conditions for Intercom**](/doc/how-to-set-up-conditions-for-intercom-ZlEDZO7OKn). ::: :::warning ***IMPORTANT:*** The [**Intercom**](/doc/three-way-intercom-BdGYfQiD1c) functionality in LearningSpace requires the web browser to have **access to the client PC's microphone**, which in turn requires a [**secure HTTPS**](/doc/how-to-use-the-https-certificate-requestupload-tool-0R6U9R0B86) connection to the LearningSpace server. That is, the **use** of the client computer's microphone can only be conducted with a **valid SSL certificate**.
