# ◾ How to use the Video Transcript Tool? **Audio Transcript capability** Once a video is processed and transcript generation is **enabled globally** under [Local Settings]() (System manager), the system **automatically generates** an audio transcript for the video**.** ## **Closed Caption (CC)** ***What is a Closed Caption?*** Closed captions are created by transcribing the video's audio and then synchronizing the text with the video footage. Open the Transcription Tab in Video Review. 2. Click on the search field. 3. Type the word you are looking for. 4. If there is a finding, the “finding stepper” shows the number of findings (right side) and the actual “in-focus” finding (left side).
