# ◾ How to Use the Favorite Resources Panel

The period of recent usage is defined independently for your favorite resources.


1. On the [**Recent Usage**](/doc/recent-usage-tab-KHQ6Pn7nwz) tab, click the Favorite Resources cogwheel. The **Recent days** popup appears.
2. In the **Recent days** popup, click the desired period you want to define as recent usage, then move the mouse pointer away from the popup.

The Favorite Resources field at the top of the panel updates to show the selected period.

The options in the **Recent days** window are default options in LearningSpace, except for the option **Recent**, which is set in the [**System Manager**](/doc/system-manager-ar9EDnlVcL) module.

3\. Click the **Details** link to navigate to the [**Resource Register**](/doc/resource-register-tab-cbIDXFgwak) for the selected cabinets within the selected period.

4\. Click the black pie chart icon to view a pie chart of the selected cabinets within the selected period.
