# ◾ How to use Card-based Login 1. In System Manager, turn on the '**Enable card-based login for Hallways station**' option on the [**General tab**](/doc/general-system-information-6jNQRhhNd8). [**Add a computer**](/doc/stations-settings-wf9eO8UwgJ) to the system as a **Hallway station** (System manager, Stations tab > Add This Computer). 3. Connect a **barcode/QR Code reader device** to the computer.
