# ◾ How to Transfer Records The Record Transfer option of the [Record Manager](/doc/record-manager-B67mR8lb11) module allows you **to transfer** complete **student or SP records** from one user to another. 1. From the Dashboard, switch to [**Classic View**](/doc/classic-view-LyPF8Dx15R) by clicking the **diagonal arrow** button on the right end of the header (next to the User profile) 2. From the Classic View **Home**, click the *Records* link of the **Reports & Results** tab. The **Record Manager** page appears. (See [How to Access the Record Manager](/doc/9dd3a86d-5242-44c2-86f7-4adeb5d860a6).) 3. Click the *Record* *Transfer* link at the bottom of the screen. Select the **Student** or **SP** radio button to determine the type of user whose record you want to transfer. 5. Click the **Transfer** button. A pop-up window confirms the transfer: *"You are about to transfer all records from every activity from one learner/SP to another! Do you wish to continue?"* 7\. Click **OK**. No backtrack will remain. That is, there will be no indication of whether the records are original or transferred.
