# ◾ How to Remove a Participant Group

1. Access the [**Participants**](/doc/participants-tab-s7Xyhg8PtB) tab of the [**Edit Activity**](/doc/edit-activity-pop-up-uYFkqiiNhq) pop-up window for the desired Activity.  
     
2. On the **Participants** tab, click the **X** next to the group you want to remove.

***WARNING:*** If the group intended to be removed **has already been assigned** on the [**Assignments**](/doc/assignments-tab-6wVg4cYdGO) tab, removing it will result in the **deletion of the assignment** as well.
