How to Record from the Single Room View - Legacy version

Important Note for Enterprise Lite Users

This feature is for use with in-campus audiovisual (AV) inputs. Hence, it is not available for LearningSpace Enterprise Lite, which is only used for web-conferencing-based virtual simulation encounters. To unlock this feature, please upgrade to the LearningSpace Enterprise solution.

  1. From the Center Overview screen, click the room name at the top of a panel to open that room. The Single Room View opens.

  2. Click the Record Control tab on the screen's left side to view the Record Control panel.

  3. Assign Activity, Case, Group, Learners, and Patients to the recording using the respective drop-down menus.

Close the Record Control panel by clicking the Hide arrow or the tab.

4. Click the cogwheel to access additional options for extended recording and recording settings for the room's cameras.

5. The recording controls are on the Recording Timeline at the top left side of the screen.

6. Click the red Record button to start recording.

A red dot appears on any recording panel next to the camera or audio name to indicate that the camera or audio is actively recording.

7. Click the Pause button to pause the recording.

IMPORTANT: Only the on-screen view is paused; the actual recording continues.

  • Click the Play button to resume the on-screen view.

  • Click the Go Live button on the right-hand side of the timeline to resume live time and regain the camera pan, tilt, and zoom controls.

8. Click the Stop button to stop recording.
