# ◾ How to Delete a Case :::warning **RECOMMENDATION:** Consider [**hiding**](/doc/02788a9d-f3c3-4aa0-a96b-ef73af1ae520), rather than deleting, Cases. ::: 1. The Edit Case pop-up window automatically opens when selecting from the drop-down of possible hits. When selecting the **Case from the list**, **double-click** the Case title or highlight it, then click the **Open** button in the **Cases** panel. 2. The **Edit Case** pop-up window for the Case opens. 3.
