# ◾ How to Copy an Activity

:::warning
***IMPORTANT:*** When an Activity is copied, **all of its specifications**, including *participant assignment, report availability, sharing assignments* along with its [**Activity Reporting Setup**](/doc/activity-reporting-setup-mIabTibem4) settings, are **duplicated** as well. Consequently, a copied Activity will be **shared by default** with any Activity Manager user with whom the original Activity has been shared.

1. Access the [**Edit Activity**](/doc/edit-activity-pop-up-uYFkqiiNhq) pop-up window for the Activity desired to be copied.
2. 3. Click the **Copy** button.

4\. A message appears **confirming** that a copy has been successfully created.

***NOTE:*** The copy of the Activity will receive a **system-generated title**: the title of the original Activity affixed with ***"copy"*** and the **serial number of the copy** in brackets.  
The title of the copied Activity and any other feature can be changed in its **Edit Activity** pop-up window.
