# ◾ How to Access the Intercom - CO :::warning **Important Note for Enterprise Lite Users** This feature is for use with in-campus audiovisual (AV) inputs. Hence, it is not available for LearningSpace Enterprise Lite, which is used for web-conferencing-based virtual simulation encounters only. For more details, see [**How to Set Up Conditions for Intercom**](/doc/fc3c642c-49ef-44dd-9ce7-69a6cb38715d). ::: :::warning ***IMPORTANT:*** The [**Intercom**](/doc/three-way-intercom-BdGYfQiD1c) functionality of LearningSpace requires the web browser to have **access to the microphone** of the client PC, which in turn requires a [**secure HTTPS**](/doc/how-to-use-the-https-certificate-requestupload-tool-0R6U9R0B86) connection to the LearningSpace server. That is, the **use of the microphone** of the client computer can only be conducted with a **valid SSL certificate**. (This restriction stems from the Chrome browser security regulations.) ::: To send announcements to workstations, speakers, or other intercom endpoints installed within each room: a. Once the Intercom hotkey is defined, users with administrator and intercom privileges can use this keyboard shortcut to send announcements.
