# ◾ How the Activity Total Score Is Calculated

The [**Activity Total Score**](/doc/evaluating-activity-performance-O3G1Ys3Haa) of a learner is calculated by the **Case Total Scores,** weighted average results calculated from the section scores.

**Activity Total Score** is calculated as follows:

**C:** Case Total Score of a learner - for each case of one particular activity  
**N:** the number of cases in the activity

## ***Example***

If there are three cases in the activity and a learner's Case Total Score is 72% for one of them, 65% for another, and 91% for the third one, the Activity Total Score is (72 + 65 + 91) / 3 = 76%.

### Activity Total Score is visible:

* in the ***Total*** column of the **Performance Matrix** referring to one learner
* at the bottom of the **Performance Matrix** page as the ***Final Score*** - only visible if the table refers to a single learner
