Enable Video Upload for FON Data Entry

This page walks you through how to allow video upload to specific running activities for users with FON Data Entry privilege.

To allow FON Data Entry users to upload videos to the activities they are participating in:

1. Select a running activity.

   Video upload is only allowed for running activities.

2. Open it for editing.

3. Go to the Options tab.

4. Select the FON Data Entry checkbox under "Enable video upload for."
   
   

   
   
   

5. From there on, FON Data Entry users who are members of the faculty group of the Activity can upload their video files to the Activity.

   FON Data Entry users can select the activities they are members of and where their privilege to upload videos is enabled. 
   Only the activities that fit these requirements will auto-populate in the Activity drop-down when trying to upload a video:
   

   

   After selecting an activity, FON Data Entry users can select any case of the activity and can select any learner who is a member of the activity's learner group.

   

   Note

   FON Data Entry users can upload video files to any learner who is a member of the learner group of the Activity but can only access the video recordings of the learners in the Video Review module if they have permission to evaluate the learners.

   Check in the Assignments tab if there are any evaluator-evaluee subgroups set up. If not, the FON Data Entry user(s) of the Activity has full access to every learner and their recordings.
