# Demo User Management :::info **Privileges** Admins and users with System Manager privilege ::: # About Activating Demo Users ## Bulk Demo User Activation **Demo users** in the system's sample database were created to demonstrate the system's functionality during training. :::info Find the steps on **How to activate your demo users** [**here**](/doc/how-to-activate-demo-users-PLTqG4PcPK). ::: ### Security Demo users are **inactive** **by default** and do not have a password; they are assigned **one only after activation**. Demo users have the *Demo user* checkbox selected in their [**Account**](/doc/e1a91793-4430-455c-8391-2a1dab4c6a57) tab in [**Users**](/doc/18f414d4-8ba7-47b6-8111-b826d6622be7). Open a user for editing to check their demo user status.
