# Asset Repair and Maintenance

## **Repair**

When an asset needs repair, you can set its status to **Under Repair** in the **Catalog**. This makes the asset unavailable and prevents it from being checked out during the **repair** period.

## **Maintenance**

You can set up a **maintenance schedule** for assets that require maintenance.

When an asset is checked out for maintenance, its status changes to **Under Maintenance** in the **Catalog**. This makes the asset unavailable and prevents it from being checked out during the maintenance period.
